The JLPT Results Announcement reveals official details on when Japanese-Language Proficiency Test results become available and how to access them on the JLPT result portal. The JLPT is administered twice a year — in July and December — and candidates can view their scores online by entering their registration number and date of birth. These include section-wise breakdowns in listening, reading, and language knowledge, along with pass/fail results across levels N5–N1. For the December 2025 session, results were officially posted on January 30, 2026, and remain accessible for a limited period.
In addition to online results, official printed certificates and score reports will be distributed to test centers and later to examinees. These certificates are widely accepted for academic, professional, and cultural pursuits. This article provides instructions on checking your results, understanding your scorecard, and learning how to use your certification after the official result announcement — enabling you to plan your next steps effectively.
